Payment Methods

Each payment by the customer can only be made using one of the methods indicated on the le-gioie.it website

PayPal and Credit Cards

The amount of the order will be charged to the customer's PayPal account after confirmation of the order by Le Gioie srl (from now on simply Le Gioie). The delivery of the product will be carried out after verification of the crediting of the purchase price in the PayPal account of Le Gioie. Any refunds to the customer will be made by Le Gioie always on the PayPal account. For each transaction carried out, a confirmation email will be sent by PayPal.

This procedure is also applied to other electronic payment methods.

Advance Bank Transfer

In case of payment by advance bank transfer, the execution of the delivery of the order by the customer will be kept suspended until the amount due has been credited to the bank account of le Gioie. The bank transfer must be made by the customer within three working days from receiving the email confirming receipt of the order and the customer must provide proof of the order of the bank transfer by sending a copy to le Gioie by email to the address info@le-gioie.it

The crediting of the amount transferred to the account of le Gioie must take place within eight working days from the receipt of the email confirming receipt of the order. If one of the above terms expires in vain, the order will be automatically considered cancelled and will not be processed.

For completeness, the data needed to make the payment via bank transfer are reported (this data will also be visible in the order summary after having placed it).

Cash on delivery (ITALY only)

Payment on delivery is subject to the following conditions:

Payment must be made exclusively with banknotes (bank checks or cashier's checks are not accepted) directly to the courier upon delivery.

Supplement of €4.90 on the total order.

Klarna

Klarna is an innovative payment method that allows the customer to purchase in online stores, receive the products immediately and pay in 3 convenient equal installments with monthly expiry.

The service has no additional costs for the customer if the installments are paid by the due date.

At the time of purchase, the first installment (equal to one third of the total value of the purchase) will be charged immediately.
The next 2 installments will be charged on a monthly basis.

First installment : at the time of purchase
Second installment : 1 month from the day of purchase
Third and final installment : 2 months from the day of purchase

Shipping, Returns and Refunds

Right of withdrawal

The customer has the right to withdraw without any penalty and without specifying the reason, within 14 (fourteen) working days from the day of receipt of the products, by sending a written communication by registered letter with return receipt to the address: Le Gioie srl, with registered office in Via Torrebianca 38, 81031 Aversa (CE). The communication can also be sent, within the same term, by email to the address info@le-gioie.it

The communication referred to in the previous point must specify the intention to withdraw from the purchase and the product or products for which the right of withdrawal is to be exercised, attaching a copy of the receipt/tax invoice. The customer must then return the product at his own expense in the original packaging to Le Gioie srl, Via Vittorio Veneto, 56, 81030 Parete CE. The goods must be returned intact, in the original packaging, complete in all its parts and together with the attached tax documentation. Used products that show signs of damage or dirt and which consequently can no longer be considered intact will therefore not be accepted.

Without prejudice to the right to verify compliance with the above, Le Gioie will refund the amount of the products subject to withdrawal by crediting the payment instrument used for payment as quickly as possible and in any case within a maximum of 14 days from the date on which it became aware of the exercise of the right of withdrawal. Naturally, Le Gioie has the right not to accept returned products that have been altered from their original condition or have been damaged. If the recipient of the products indicated in the order is different from the person who made the payment for such products, the amount paid corresponding to the returned items will be refunded by Le Gioie to the person who made the payment. If the right of withdrawal is exercised, Le Gioie will not be responsible for the transport costs for the return or for any loss or damage to the products attributable to third parties.

Responsibility

Le Gioie assumes no responsibility for disruptions attributable to force majeure or unforeseeable circumstances, even if dependent on malfunctions and disruptions of the Internet network, in the event that it is unable to execute the order within the timeframes set out in the contract. Le Gioie will also not be liable for damages, losses and costs incurred by the customer as a result of failure to execute the contract for reasons not attributable to the customer, and unless they are due to an act or omission by Le Gioie, the customer being entitled only to a full refund of the price paid and any additional charges incurred.

Furthermore, Le Gioie cannot be held responsible for the information, data and any technical or other inaccuracies that may be contained in the site, if they have been communicated by third parties and have been verified by Le Gioie according to the criteria of ordinary diligence. Le Gioie assumes no responsibility for any fraudulent or illicit use that may be made by third parties of credit cards, checks and other means of payment, at the time of payment for the products purchased, if it demonstrates that it has adopted all possible precautions based on the best science and experience of the moment and based on ordinary diligence.

Delivery methods and costs

Le Gioie SRL (hereinafter Le Gioie) will deliver the selected and purchased products via express courier to the address provided by the customer at the time of ordering. Orders will be processed as soon as they are received. Le Gioie undertakes to deliver the products in the shortest possible time. The total amount of the expenses will be visible before proceeding with the purchase confirmation. The shipped goods will be checked and delivered to the carrier intact and without defects. Le Gioie cannot be held responsible in any way for any delays or damages attributable to the carrier's fault.

Shipping Italy: Transport on Italian and European territory is entrusted to the express courier of maximum notoriety and reliability. Delivery for Italy takes place within 24/48 hours, the times indicated above are absolutely indicative and may vary during holiday periods and/or based on the destination to be reached. In any case we are not responsible for any delays due to the courier. For transport on European territory, delivery times vary from 2 to 5 working days based on the destination to be reached.

In order to have an accurate and safe delivery, please indicate the destination address as precisely as possible, complete with useful information, such as Staircase, Interior, Intercom, etc.

Associated with each order will be present, and will be communicated via an email confirming the departure of the package from our warehouse, a shipping code consisting of an identification number with which it will be possible to check where the package is shipped directly from the courier's website.

Failure to deliver due to the recipient's absence: If the recipient of the shipment is absent, the courier will leave a notice on the first passage and make a second passage the following day. If the recipient is absent on the second passage, the goods will be placed in storage. The storage service consists of the custody of shipments that have not been delivered for reasons independent of the courier. In the event of failure to deliver, the goods are placed in special monitored areas with limited access. The service involves sending the sender information regarding the storage and the request for redelivery shipments. The goods are returned to the sender if there are no new instructions within 10 working days from the date the storage is opened. All costs relating to storage and related redelivery will be charged directly to the recipient.

The issuance of the invoice is not mandatory if it is not requested by the customer no later than the time of the transaction, as indicated in art. 22 of the Presidential Decree of 26/10/1972 n. 633. By sending the order to le Gioie the customer agrees to receive the invoice/receipt in electronic format. The customer may receive the invoice/receipt in paper format by making an express request to le Gioie. After the invoice has been issued, it will not be possible to make any changes to the data indicated in the invoice.

Free Shipping Italy: for orders over 69.00 euros

For EXTRA EU shipments, customs duties are the responsibility of the customer. If the due taxes and customs duties are not paid, all costs relating to: Shipping, Customs clearance and legal costs will be deducted from the refund.
