The lid has a maximum opening angle of 70 degrees to avoid direct contact with hot steam. The 1.5 L seamless stainless steel container is also extremely easy to clean and the limescale filter, which is also partially made of stainless steel, ensures better taste. The filter adheres to seal the spout when the lid is closed, thus preventing any spills, even when the kettle is accidentally bumped. An additional safety feature is the boil-dry and overheat protection which automatically switches off the kettle to prevent any damage to the heating element. The kettle is also switched off when it is removed from its seat. The seat with cable reel makes it easy to store.
